Over the past two weekends, buildings 7–11 have experienced unexpected fire alarm activations. Based on the alarm company’s investigation, the false alarms appear to be caused by extreme summer temperatures affecting the northwest-facing buildings. Heat buildup around the existing 135°F sensors is believed to be triggering the alarms.
Our fire alarm monitoring system automatically notifies both Community Management and the Fire Department whenever an alarm is triggered. Residents should also call the After-Hours Emergency Maintenance line at (602) 647-3034 so our maintenance team can respond promptly.
Management is working with the alarm company to identify replacement sensors that are better suited to these conditions. We appreciate your patience as we work toward a permanent solution.
