Getting Started

We want your Anasazi Village experience to be as positive as possible. Whether you are new to a homeowner’s association (HOA), or have lived in one for years, here are a few tips to help you make the transition to community living.

Read Your Governing Documents

When you closed on your new home, you received a lot of documents related to the HOA. Among them are the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and Community Rules and Regulations. You also received your New Owners Community Guide and your Architectural Design Rules and Approval Process. All these documents will give you an overview of your responsibilities within the HOA.

Several items, some of which require registration at the Community Management Office, are essential to a safe, easy, and enjoyable stay at Anasazi Village.

They include:

  • Keep your account information up to date. Please ensure your contact details are current, so you receive required communications and timely notifications. To review or update your information, visit AllAccess (Forms / Account Contacts & Change Contact Info).
  • Make sure you get the gate key and mailbox key from the previous owner.
  • Make sure the Community Management Office has a key to your unit for emergencies.
  • Register your vehicle and get a parking sticker for your car.
  • Register your pet.
  • Register your tenant, if you are renting out your unit.
  • Register your homeowner’s insurance policy at the Community Management Office.

Get To Know Your Neighbors, Get Involved in The Community

One of the greatest advantages of living in an HOA is the strong sense of community it offers. Anasazi Village features a website full of information about the many ways you can get involved such as attending social events or volunteering with a board committee.

Take time to connect with your neighbors as you never know where a simple conversation might lead. You may form friendships that last for years. And if you have a hobby, skill, or special interest you’d enjoy sharing, consider organizing an event or activity of your own. It’s a wonderful way to bring people together and enrich our community.

    The possibilities are endless.

    Go to the Meetings

Attending HOA Board meetings is one of the best ways to stay informed and engaged in your community. Meetings provide updates on finances, maintenance projects, policy changes, and give residents the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.

By participating, homeowners gain a clearer understanding of how decisions are made, how dues are used, and how the Board works to protect property values and enhance quality of life. You can also deepen your involvement by volunteering for a committee. Either way, you play an important role in shaping the future of your community.

The HOA Board welcomes your questions, concerns, suggestions, and comments. Please reach out by emailing contact@anasaziliving.com.

Respect Your Neighbors and Their Property

The governing documents include rules and regulations for the community. Abiding by them will go a long way in keeping peace and a sense of neighborhood in the community.

Submit Proposed Changes to The Architectural Committee Before Installing Them

Your CC&Rs require submission of your plans prior to installation of any architectural changes to your home. The purpose of these restrictions is to maintain the aesthetic beauty and to preserve the safety, value and desirability of the community. Failure to submit plans prior to installation may require you to incur the cost of removing your installation and bringing it into compliance with the governing documents. To save yourself time, money and aggravation, be sure to submit your changes to the architectural committee for the HOA before you do the work.
