Board Committees

The HOA has several committees, each with a Board member as chair. All residents are invited to participate by volunteering as a committee member or attending committee meetings.

Committees provide the Board with support on various areas of responsibility but cannot approve any actions or recommendations suggested by Committees. All final decisions are made by the Board as a whole. Committee meetings are held in the Clubhouse or by video conference but have no formal schedule, so watch for notices.

The Board Committees include:

  • Architectural Design Committee (ARC):
Reviews and approves plans for any exterior changes or additions, and interior structural changes (as it relates to walls, doors, windows, and floors) to the homes in
the community. The ARC ensures that any changes or additions are consistent with the community’s overall design and aesthetics and support the structural integrity of each condo in the HOA.
  • Cactus Garden Committee: Raises funds for Cactus Garden projects and make decisions on how donations will be spent on behalf of the Anasazi Cactus Garden. The committee organizes and hosts an Annual Fundraiser in February and other community events.
  • Communications Committee: Assists the Communications Chairperson in promoting and increasing resident engagement, awareness and understanding of the functions, activities, and operations of the Association.
  • Infrastructure Committee: Provides support to the Board with major infrastructure projects including identifying items requiring work, reviewing, and recommending project priorities, timelines, contractor bids, etc.
  • Landscape Committee: Provides guidance and recommendations on maintaining and/or enhancing the common area landscaping, lighting and ponds, assesses the irrigation needs of the property, and coordinates activities with the Community Manager, as necessary.
  • Rules and Regulations Committe: Reviews the existing Anasazi Homeowners Association Rules and Regulations and proposes to the Board of Directors new and/or revised rules and regulations, as are necessary for the betterment of the community.
  • Social/Activities Committee: Plans and organizes events and facilitates the implementation of approved residentled ideas by coordinating, communicating, and promoting them. The committee also raises funds to support its events.
