This fall, we will complete our final large-scale tree-planting project, marking the transition to a maintenance phase in our tree-planting program. Going forward, new trees will be planted only as replacements when an existing tree dies.

We now have a complete list of the trees scheduled to be ordered in September, organized by building, tree type, and location.

Completing this phase will bring an important benefit: all of our trees will eventually will eventually be on the same watering schedule. Currently, established trees receive deep watering, while newer trees require both deep and shallow watering. Once this planting phase is complete and the new trees are established, we look forward to maintaining the entire property with one consistent deep-watering schedule.
