The community recycling bins at Sweetwater Park have been temporarily relocated to Roadrunner Park, 3502 E Cactus Rd. The bins are now located on the southwest corner of Roadrunner Park along Cactus Road.

The move is temporary while Sweetwater Park undergoes the final stage of a major redevelopment project. Improvements include upgraded restrooms, new ramadas, a shaded playground, chilled drinking fountains, and a new walking path with exercise equipment.

Work at Sweetwater Park is expected to be completed in Spring 2027, at which time the recycling location is expected to return to the park.
