We need to address this issue again. Smoking and vaping in prohibited areas continues to be a problem at Anasazi, despite previous reminders. Anasazi has a clear and mandatory smoking policy: smoking is permitted only inside a resident’s individual unit. It is not permitted anywhere else on the property. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Balconies and patios
• Pool areas
• Grounds and walkways
• Common elements and shared spaces

The policy applies to all smoking and vaping products, including cigarettes, marijuana, e-cigarettes and similar devices. The use of dangerous or illegal drugs in any Common Element is strictly prohibited.

Please be considerate of your neighbors. Smoke does not stay contained. It can drift into neighboring units, balconies, patios and
common areas, affecting residents who should not have to deal with unwanted smoke where they live and relax.

This is not a matter of personal preference. It is an HOA rule, and compliance is mandatory. Continued violations negatively affect the quality of life of other residents and will not be ignored.

Smoking materials must also be disposed of properly inside your unit. Cigarette butts may not be discarded in potted plants, on patios or balconies, or anywhere on the grounds.

We are asking all residents to follow the policy and respect the right of their neighbors to enjoy a smoke-free community
