THE LANDSCAPE SCENE

Oleander Patio Hedges
We are performing a health cut on the oleander patio hedges. Regular shearing over time can make these plants woody and sparse, so they are being cut back to approximately 2 feet to encourage healthy new growth. This rejuvenation process occurs about every five years and will continue as needed.

Pool 5 – Yellow Oleanders
The 25 yellow oleanders (a non-true oleander variety) are being reshaped into small, multi-trunked trees. This long-term approach will reduce maintenance needs while improving structure and increasing bloom production. During the transition, plants may appear less uniform as they regrow, but the result will be a healthier, more refined landscape.
