Metro Fire recently completed the community’s fire hose replacements. Thanks to the initiative of wildlife enthusiast and Board Director Suzanne McSherry, along with resident Carol Mauriello and Community Manager Shelly Holland, reuse options were explored and Anasazi’s retired hoses were donated to the Phoenix Zoo.

There, they’ll be repurposed in large animal habitats providing durable bedding and enrichment for the zoo’s largest residents.
