CLM Landscape will begin the annual summer lawn transition process throughout the community Thursday, June 11th until Friday the 12th.
As part of this process, a soil treatment will be applied that helps lower the soil’s pH level and improves water absorption. In previous years, we aerated the turf using equipment that removed soil plugs. While effective, that method created significant dust and left numerous holes in the lawn areas. This year, we are utilizing an alternative approach designed to improve soil conditions while minimizing dust and disruption.
Once the soil treatment has been completed, the landscape crew will apply Bermuda grass seed and mulch to areas that have been filled with topsoil. These locations primarily include trenches and low spots that settled following the recent irrigation installation project.
To ensure the treatment is properly absorbed and to promote seed germination, irrigation schedules will be increased for a period of time after the work is completed.
We recommend that residents and their pets avoid walking on the treated and seeded grass areas for several days to allow the new seed the best opportunity to establish itself.
If you have any questions, please contact the Community Management Office.
Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to improve the appearance and health of our community landscaping.
